Vacancies for 2026

Issue date:

Join the Teaching Team at Tyndale Park Christian School in 2026

Set on park-like grounds surrounded by native bush and generous sports fields in the South Eastern suburb of Flat Bush, Tyndale Park Christian School is a Year 1–13 independent Christian school committed to assisting parents in their God-given responsibility to educate their children. For over 40 years, we have offered Bible-based, Christ-centred education that shapes the hearts and minds of young people for faithful Christian living and service.

Our size is our strength. As a small, family-friendly school, we offer safe, caring, and multi-year level classrooms where every child is known and valued. Relationships are strong across all year levels, and our dedicated staff serve in a collegial and purpose-driven team.

Due to the retirement, semi-retirement, and family relocation of long-serving, faithful Christian teachers, as well as anticipated changes in school roll, we are now seeking committed Christian educators to join our team in 2026.

We are currently inviting applications for the following positions:

  • Secondary School Teacher (full-time or part-time)
Subject specialisation in English and/or Social Sciences.

  • Primary School Teachers (full-time and/or part-time)
Teaching across Years 1–6 in multi-year level classrooms.

  • Senior Teacher
In addition to a full-time teaching position in primary or secondary, applicants with middle management experience will be considered for a senior teacher role with school-wide responsibilities.

The positions commence in Term 1, 2026; however, the secondary teacher may start part-time in Term 4, 2025, to allow the successor to become familiar with the high school curriculum and qualification framework.

Applications will close as soon as suitable teachers are found.

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Love God and desire to honour Him in their teaching and relationships.

  • Demonstrate a clear calling to Christian education.

  • Build strong partnerships with students and families.

  • Hold relevant teaching qualifications and be currently registered by the NZ Teaching Council.

  • Are willing to contribute actively to the life and culture of the school.

  • Agree with our missionphilosophy of Christian education and statement of faith of our school.

Come and be part of a Christ-centred learning community where your teaching ministry can impact generations for the glory of God.

We encourage school visits before applying for the positions. Please contact the principal:

Mr. Prasad Patchigalla, principal@tyndalepark.school.nz, (09) 274 9771.
