Dear community, I don't know about you, but on Friday night when Prime Minister Ardern made the announcement that 49 people lost their lives and 45 were injured, I couldn't help but cry: people made in God's image were treated as if they had no value at all.
We praise God for a great day of touch rugby! Our Year 5-6 team achieved a third place in their age group and our Year 9-10 a fourth place. Here are some photos and videos of the day: https://photos.app.goo.gl/7umpa1V7U5U2UM9R8
We also have to extend our thanks to the teachers and parents who have helped with organising the teams, arranging and running practices and providing transport on the day. We cannot do this without you. Thank you very much!
We want to extend our gratitude to every family who has attended our first community event of the year, the Parent Orientation (Thursday evening, 21 February). The atmosphere was relaxed and festive (check the video). Parents and teachers left the event informed, encouraged and knowing each other a bit better.
Dear parents, Tyndale Park Christian School assists parents by providing a Christ-centred education that encourages academic excellence and Christian service to the glory of God. Our teaching and learning programme develops a Christian worldview in our students that keeps the God of the Bible at the centre of everything we do, “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ” (Colossians 3:23-24).
Dear community, the first day of school is Monday 4 February, 8:50 am. If it is your first day, please try to be here at 8:30 am. We can't wait because God's thoughts for His people are thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give us an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).
On another note, our driveway is completely new - be prepared for some changes to dropping off and picking up students. We will give you a flyer when you come to school this week with the changes.
