School Term Information

  • The school operates a four-term year based on four approximately ten-week terms. Our term start and finish dates generally coincide with State School holidays. We are open for 384 half days.
  • The school starts at 8.50 am and finishes at 3.00 pm. However, we expect students to arrive from 8.30 am onwards. When the school finishes, we expect students to leave the school grounds before 3.30 pm unless they are enrolled in the After School Care programme.
  • The last day of terms 1, 2 and 3 finishes at 2:00 pm and 1.00 pm for term 4.  
  • We encourage all parents to note the following important dates and to participate actively in all school events. Your presence encourages us and contributes to developing a robust school-parent partnership. Together, we can create an environment where our students thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually for God’s glory.

  • Family Picnic and Parent Orientation - Week 4, Thursday 26 February 5.30 pm-7.00 pm.
  • Athletics Day - Week 6, Friday 13 March (Save Day Week 7, Friday 20 March)
  • Parent-Teacher Interviews - Week 9, Monday 30 March - Wednesday 1 April from 3.30 pm-5.30 pm
  • End-of-term Assembly - Thursday 2 April, School finishes at 2.00 pm, No After School Care.

  • TPCS Science Fair, School Hall, 10.00-11.30 am, Saturday 8 August
  • Manukau Region's NIWA Science and Technology Fair, Saint Kentigern, Monday, 24 August
  • Parent-Teacher Conferences - Week 9, Tuesday 15 September - Thursday 17 September from 3.30 pm- 7.00 pm
  • End-of-term Assembly - Friday 25 September, School finishes at 2.00 pm, No After School Care.
