Support us

Please consider helping us manage tuition fee increases by making a donation. Immediate school improvement projects include the renewal of our curriculum material, completing our sports field, making our library a great space for book lovers, conserving our native forest by replanting native plants and creating footpaths and outdoor classroom areas and purchasing a class set of tablets for a new digital media curriculum. Please help if you are able to!

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. - 2 Corinthians 9:7

Tyndale Park Christian School is an independent Christian school and a Registered Charitable Trust. We are grateful for the freedom this allows to provide the Christian perspective and content throughout our curriculum, without the constraints otherwise imposed by the Ministry of Education. We are also committed to providing a Christian education for as many as possible, and to this end we strive to keep our fees at a level which covers our costs and yet makes them accessible to the majority. However, as an Independent Christian School, we receive only minimal government funding.

We are grateful for those who have assisted us financially over the years and with a considerable amount of development and refurbishment required in the very near future, in addition to our everyday running expenses, we would certainly appreciate any financial assistance you may be able to help with. Of course, all gifts and donations qualify for a 33% tax rebate as we are a registered Charitable Trust: CC24771. Thank you for considering us and we would be happy to discuss any queries or issues you may have. May God richly bless your investment in the ministry of TPCS.

2019 Fundraiser

Introduction

Dear parents, as you know the NZEI (the largest teachers' union in New Zealand) has been negotiating the salaries of teachers in the state system with the New Zealand Government. Teachers' salaries will be increased by a minimum of 3% per annum over the next three years (it is important to clarify that TPCS teachers' salaries are not paid by the state but from students' tuition fees and therefore independent of the NZEI negotiations). Secondly, national inflation is presently around 2.5%. To ensure,

  • we provide an excellent teaching and learning programme at TPCS,
  • we keep up with national inflation,
  • our teachers' salaries are competitive, and
  • the continued recruitment of teachers as the school grows,

we have no choice but to increase tuition fees - please be assured that we know that you are making a sacrifice to give your children a quality, Christian education. We are doing everything in our power to keep tuition fees increases as low as possible. You can help us by considering the following fundraising campaign for 2019.

Aiming for $10,000+

We want to ask parents to consider making donations in Term 1 and 2 of 2019 towards a goal of at least $10,000 to ensure no further tuition fee increases are necessary for Term 3 and 4 of 2019. We will update the graphic at the top of the page to show our progress towards this goal!
