Unity in diversity points to the Trinity

Dear parents and students, the diversity of our school community is a treasure because not only are all of us are made in God’s image (Genesis 1:27), the immensity of the diversity showing us how great God is, but it also teaches us not to think more highly of ourselves than we ought to (Romans 12:3): we, finite creations, are made by an infinite Creator.

Remote learning will continue

Dear Parents and Students, by now you would have heard the government's announcement that COVID-19 Alert Level 3 will continue in Auckland until 11.59 pm on Wednesday 26 August. The cabinet will meet to review the decision on Friday 21 August and make an announcement on future COVID-19 Alert Levels on Monday 24 August. This decision will have the following impact on Tyndale Park Christian School:

Remote learning continues until 26 August

IMPORTANT: School closed 12-14 August

Dear parents and students, the Prime Minister announced at 9.15 pm tonight that cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in a South Auckland family. The family is employed at a number of different locations across Auckland and the government is in the midst of contact tracing.

To ensure the possible spread of the virus is contained, and to give the government an opportunity to complete their contact tracing, Auckland's COVID-19 Alert Level has been adjusted to Level 3 from 12 pm on Wednesday 12 August. This implies the following:

Dear Parents and Students, I don’t know about you, but I am incredibly humbled by God’s grace and mercy for our nation as we make a relatively ‘normal’ start to the term. I know that many of you have family members who are living in countries that are still in some form of lockdown. I think the best response to our situation is gratitude. We have also been encouraged by God’s answers to our prayers to provide for the livelihoods of families’ who have been affected by COVID-19.

Term 2: Done and Dusted!

Dear Parents and Students, the past twelve weeks have been quite eventful! We started Term 2 via remote learning on Tuesday, the 14th of April. On Monday, the 18th of May, we switched to face-to-face learning under strict hygiene guidelines and on Tuesday, the 9th of June, life went back to ‘normal’.
