TPCS is 37 years old today!

Friday, 25 May 2018

It is Tyndale Park Christian School's 37'th birthday today!

An excerpt from the 25th Anniversary Yearbook:

"During the summer of 1980/81, a start was made on the construction of the school buildings. This involved thousands of hours of voluntary labour - an example which has been continued since then. Such labours of love have always been a characteristic of the work at Tyndale Park Christian School.

Great day at ACS Netball!

Wednesday, 16 May 2018

I am very proud of our Year 4-6 and Year 7-9 netball teams. They played very well in the Auckland Christian Schools tournament today, and exhibited great sportmanship. The Year 4-6 team won three of their five games and the Year 7-9 team won three of their six games. This is excellent when you consider that they have played a few teams who play in local netball leagues.

Welcome to Term 2, 2018

Dear Parents

At the end of term 1, I had the privilege of participating in the New Zealand Association of Christian Schools’ (NZACS) Leaders Conference. NZACS represents 66 Christian schools across New Zealand. The theme of the conference was “taonga” (treasure) and through insightful keynote presentations, workshops and networking conversations we reflected on how to best steward the treasure God has entrusted to us in the Christian education movement, i.e. the students.

End of term reflection

Friday, 13 Apr 2018

Dear Parents, this term the staff and I focused on one aspect of the mission statement, i.e. “Tyndale Park Christian School exists to assist parents”. “Assisting parents” means that we recognise that parents have the primary responsibility for their children’s spiritual formation and education, i.e.

Miss Muir (25 years) and Miss Poia (10 years)
