Afterschool Care Manager 2022

Tyndale Park Christian School is inviting applications for the position of Afterschool Care Manager. Job description

Duties of employee:              

Contribute to the caring, friendly, safe and successful operation of the Tyndale Park Christian School afterschool programme by managing the staff, coordinating the programme and complying with relevant legislation.

TEACHING, LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT                                              

  • Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of children, staff and visitors
  • Participate in, develop and coordinate all areas of the curriculum
  • Contribute to the practical preparation and tidy-up of teaching activities

COMMUNICATION AND CONSULTATION

  • Working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Representing a Christian role model to children, staff and visitors

OPERATION AND ADMINISTRATION

  • Assist with administrative tasks and planning
  • Coordinate and lead afterschool care staff and afterschool care staff meetings
  • Attend school staff meetings when requested by the principal
  • Uphold the principles and policies of Tyndale Park Christian School
  • Ensure that relevant legislation is complied with

Music Teacher (Part-Time) for 2022 - Primary and Intermediate

Tyndale Park Christian School (TPCS) is inviting applications for the position of part-time Primary and Intermediate Music Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the TPCS music curriculum to students from Years 1 to 8 (the range of year levels may possibly be able to be negotiated).

Music classes are presently offered following a class music approach. The school has adequate resources for teaching students recorder, ukelele and marimba, and we want our students not only to develop an appreciation for psalms, hymns and spiritual songs but also to learn how to compose their own music. This position is about 0.2 FTTE.

Art Teacher (Part-Time) for 2022 - Primary and Intermediate

Tyndale Park Christian School (TPCS) is inviting applications for the position of part-time Primary and Intermediate Art Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the TPCS art curriculum to students from Years 1 to 8 (the range of year levels may possibly be able to be negotiated).

The primary art teacher plays a crucial role in establishing foundational visual art skills in our primary and intermediate students to enable them to pursue mastery in visual art as well as laying the foundation secondary students will need to be prepared for tertiary art studies. This position is about 0.4 FTTE. The ideal candidate
